At Lilly of the Valley Home Daycare, play-based learning informs our belief in the development process. We understand that playing forms the very basis necessary for enhancements in the physical, emotional, cognitive, linguistic, and social development of children.

Our Approach

We offer creative play experiences with safety based on children's everyday astonishment and interests. I have a small group setting, and that helps to make sure each child can get the individual attention that he or she needs. I also encourage originality in this type of environment with children being free to express themselves, hence being allowed to participate in activities of their choice.

Individualized Care

Each child is considered special in his own particular way. I provide choices that are thoughtful and allow children to maintain independence for a strong sense of self.

Experienced Caregiver

As a qualified early childhood educator, I observe and document every child's development. This information guides me in the meaningful implementation of the curriculum and activities that I document to keep parents up-to-date with daily happenings, and also for them to consider and value the place of play in their child's life.

Program Information

I am licensed to care for 8 children from the age of 8 months through 5 years old. I strive to create a sense of community as well as a valued learning environment through activities and education.
